NOAA WX Radio out of Syracuse, NY (WXL31 broadcasting on 162.550 MHz - channel WX-1) should provide coverage of the entire Oswego Canal for current and forecasted weather and emergency alerts.
Once at Lake Ontario, WX Radio out of Rochester, NY (KHA53 broadcasting on 162.400 MHz – channel WX-2) may provide better near shore and open water lake forecasts.
